South Africa Social Clubs exists to give South Africa's private cannabis clubs an honest home online — because a country where private cultivation and use have been constitutionally protected since 2018, with clubs opening from Cape Town to Johannesburg, needs information built for South Africa, not borrowed from Europe or Asia.
From an idea to a company
2024
The idea
It started with Cannabivo: we searched for a serious, international directory of private cannabis clubs and found nothing like it, so we built one. South Africa was one of the clearest gaps — a private club scene of some 600 venues and growing by the week, with almost no reliable information organised in one place.
2024–2025
Built in-house
Two years of market-by-market research, then full in-house development. No off-the-shelf directory, no bought listings.
2026
MS WebX LLC
South Africa Social Clubs is operated by MS WebX LLC, founded in 2026 to run the platform — including this dedicated South Africa edition, built specifically for the country.
02/2026
Cannabivo goes live
Live in all 18 languages from the first day, and improved almost daily since.
07/2026
Mallorca and Ibiza
Two dedicated island sites: Mallorca CSC moved onto our own platform mid-season, and Ibiza Cannabis Clubs launched alongside it.
07–08/2026
A network, not a site
Seven Spanish province sites followed within weeks, and Thailand became our first property outside Spain.
Legalize it. It's just a plant.
We think South Africa's private clubs deserve a directory as serious as the scene itself — because a country where private cultivation and use have been constitutionally protected since 2018 deserves clear, well-documented information, not a template borrowed from somewhere else.
